Area at the back of a garden, with gravel and weeds behind the end of the lawn.
Most gravel was raked to be reused. Weed membrane laid, with plastic strips cut to act as a barrier between Oak sleeper wall and the compost filling.
Construction of "L shape" boxes on top of plastic strips which are then stapelled onto the inside walls.
Bed bases are filled with wood and other organic matter that will break down and feed the soil.
Gravel added to paths giving a smart finish. Note - newly sawn sleepers laid in January - they will age to a silvery grey in the summer.
Newly planted finished raised beds in April/May.
